Plans for FITP 08 are well in hand and with many new clubs hoping to attend this years event there should be plenty of new things to see as well as bargains to be had from the traders attending. This years event will see improved toilet facilities, more catering outlets but the same entrance price as 2007!.

FITP 08 will be held at Huntingdon Racecourse on Sunday 18th May 2008 , more details near the end of 2007.

Fiesta in the park will be held on Sunday 13th May and the NEW venue of Huntingdon racecourse , just off juntion 22 of the A14 not far from the old venue of Wicksteed park. for more details click on the link below:

Despite the weather being overcast there was a HUGE turnout for FITP 06 , a huge THANK YOU to all those who attended especially those who helped out. Loads of great cars...and the odd Truck too!, . ideas and improvements for 2007 are already under discussion...hopefully see you all next year!.

Ford Heritage agree to display a Ford GT70 and 1958 Anglia at Fiesta in the Park!, this is a rare opportunity to see these cars especially the GT70 with only a handful ever built! they will be in a special area of the show.

07/2/1976 - 07/2/2006 The Fiesta is 30 Years old this year! this helps reinforce is status as a modern classic with many early examples becoming very sought after. Tuesday 7th of February will see the car getting lots of press attention  so keep your eyes...and ears peeled, but its not just the Fiesta's 30th birthday we celebrate this year its also the clubs 10th birthday too! so keep checking back for updates of what's going on and when.

FITP 2006 NEWS! The show next year will be ticketed , therefore any clubs wanting to show cars will have to buy tickets in advance at least 2 weeks before the event , application forms will be sent out to clubs who attended last years event early in the new year along with full details . We hope the tickets will help speed up entry to the site (along with many other improvements) as well as making sure you get the space you want. Entrance fee will be £6 per car (as many people as you like). If your club didn't attend last years event please watch this space for details of how to get a form OR if you are a trader and are interested in coming an application form will soon be available.

The new Fiesta ST has been unveiled and looks very promising, it and is slightly tamer cousin the Zetec S will be here in January . The ST has the 2 litre 150 BHP petrol engine which will see it to 129 MPH and do 0 to 60 in 7.9 seconds, the Zetec S is slightly slower than this but does have the option of a "sporty" 90 BHP diesel engine giving you lots of torque and plenty of MPG this is once again slightly off the pace of the ZETEC S Petrol . The Fiesta JWRC car was show alongside the next generation of Focus WRC car after Ford announced a 4 year commitment to rallying this week, both cars should be hitting the rough stuff next year so keep your eyes peeled.
